Before It Had a Name

MEET AUSTIN & CASSIE
The two people behind every booking.
We started Lotus & Lyon after seeing the same thing too often — sitters who treated a home like their own, and providers who stopped listening to what the client actually asked for. We built the opposite: care that starts with what you want, and delivers it exactly.
In two years, we've cared for 50+ homes across South Florida — many of them repeat families. We grew up with animals our whole lives, and we love building real relationships with the people and pets we serve.
Austin spent nearly 15 years as a senior mover, trusted with everything families owned as he drove it across the country — coast to coast. He knows what real responsibility feels like.
Cassie is a licensed massage therapist with a background in wellness and nutrition. Her standard is simple: it's about what you asked for, not what's easiest to deliver — the principle behind everything we do.

HOW WE WORK

Every engagement is approached as temporary guardianship — not a service transaction.When we enter a home, we are not visitors. We are stewards. The goal is not simply to keep things functional while you're away. It is to preserve the feeling of your home — the rhythms your pets rely on, the standards your household runs by, the quiet confidence that nothing was disrupted in your absence.We work with a deliberately limited number of clients. Not because of a marketing posture. Because the work we do cannot be scaled carelessly and done well at the same time. Cassie's academic background in nutrition brings informed oversight to every food decision made in your home -- from specialized pet dietary preparation to stocking your kitchen before your return. Bringing a unique understanding to your dietary instructions.
